Book Review – The Little Girl Who Lost Her Name

The little girl who lost her name

The little girl who lost her name by wonderbly books; is probably thee most magical children’s story book I have come across. My eldest is a bit of a book worm and has a mini library in her bedroom. So I have read though quite a few children’s stories. Both my girls have this book and we absolutely love them.

My eldest daughter got this book a couple of Christmases ago, and we fell in love with it straight away. This magical book is the perfect bedtime story.

This is far from a copy and paste personalised children’s book…you know the kind I mean don’t you?
The ones where the name is just copied and pasted into the same generic boring story. The amazing thing about this book is that the child’s name IS the story!

The story starts with a little girl (or boy), who wakes up in the middle of the night to discover that they have lost their name.
They then embark on a magical adventure, in search of their lost name. Where they are greeted by character after character, all of whom give them a letter which at the end of the story spells out their name.

Overall

This book really grips my girls attention, as she waits to see which animal character is going to be on each page. I remember when we first used to read it together, she would get so excited at the aspect that the girl in the story had the same name as her.
The quality of the book, as well as the illustrations are really amazing. I highly recommend this book. You can add a personalised message, on the first page which gives an even more personal touch! I’m sure that all children will treasure this book as much as we do.

This is a true and honest review, and I did not receive anything in exchange for it.
